Prepare for the Walmart Store Team Lead interview with 2 practice rounds and what each one looks for. Pick any round and an AI interviewer runs it with you at full length, with follow-up questions. Afterwards you’ll see what went well and what to work on next.
Your first 60 minutes of practice are free. No card needed.
Next: your first full round
One full practice round shows where you stand before you work on anything specific.
Pick a round to see what it asks of you and where you stand on it.
See whether the candidate can lead associates on the floor, look after customers, handle conflict and set priorities, shown through real examples from past work.
Ask what you would do differently in the same situation.
Ask for a similar situation to test if the example is typical.
Not much is published about the Walmart store Team Lead interview. Walmart's own tips describe behavioral, situational questions with a follow-up asking for a similar time, and suggest answering in STAR form. Recent Team Lead reports on Glassdoor describe a short, friendly conversation, about 30 minutes in one case, covering customer service, leading a team, conflict between associates and juggling tasks. One candidate mentions a second round. Still unclear: whether there is an online assessment, and whether the interview happens by phone, by video or in the store.
Worth redoing if you hear something from the recruiter that contradicts this.
Every round you’ve done for this job, newest first.

Pick four real retail or team events: a customer you helped beyond the usual, a team win you led, a conflict between associates, and a busy shift with many tasks. For each, write your own actions and a result with a number.
Team Lead candidates on Glassdoor report questions about going above and beyond for a customer, managing a group so the team succeeds, resolving associate conflict, and prioritizing tasks.

Cut each story to about two minutes. Keep the situation short. Say what you did and said. In the conflict story, show that you heard both people, stayed calm, and checked later. Do not blame anyone.
The hiring manager needs to hear your choices, not the team's. A short setup and a clear result make your leadership easy to follow.
Suggested approach
Learn the four values: Service to the Customer, Respect for the Individual, Strive for Excellence, Act with Integrity. Tag each story with one value. Write one sentence that explains the link. Add one thing you learned or changed.
Walmart tells candidates to learn its values and to practice STAR answers. It also says 75% of US store management started as hourly associates, so floor stories fit well.
