Prepare for the Starbucks Barista interview with 2 practice rounds and what each one looks for. Pick any round and an AI interviewer runs it with you at full length, with follow-up questions. Afterwards you’ll see what went well and what to work on next.
Your first 60 minutes of practice are free. No card needed.
Next: your first full round
One full practice round shows where you stand before you work on anything specific.

Practice the kind of everyday café situations the questionnaire covers: customers, teammates and store standards, plus giving availability you can really keep.
Ask why a chosen response beats the next best option.
Starbucks says hiring starts with an online application. Applicants who meet the basic requirements may be invited to Applicant Insights, an online questionnaire of about 20 minutes that Starbucks says has no right or wrong answers. Candidates then describe a short, friendly interview with the store manager, usually in the store, about customer service, availability and why they want the job. Reported length runs from about 15 to 30 minutes. Some candidates describe a phone call first or a second interview, and some reports are years old, so the exact steps can vary by store.
Worth redoing if you hear something from the recruiter that contradicts this.

Write the exact days and hours you can work each week. Include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays if you can do them. Add the hours up. Check that the total is at least 18. Remove any slot you cannot keep.
Starbucks postings ask for 18 hours of availability and flexible hours. The US application also asks for at least 12 scheduled hours a week. A schedule you can keep makes your answers match later.

Write one-line rules for three cases: an upset customer, a busy teammate, and a store standard that slows the line. Use the rules when you answer. Do not guess what Starbucks wants.
Starbucks says there are no right or wrong answers. It also says this questionnaire is not pass/fail. Honest answers that match how you would act on a shift keep you consistent.
