Prepare for the Ramp Product Manager interview with 4 practice rounds and what each one looks for. Pick any round and an AI interviewer runs it with you at full length, with follow-up questions. Afterwards you’ll see what went well and what to work on next.
Your first 60 minutes of practice are free. No card needed.
Next: your first full round
One full practice round shows where you stand before you work on anything specific.
Pick a round to see what it asks of you and where you stand on it.
Confirms your PM experience, why you want Ramp, and that you take initiative, before the loop continues.
Ask what the candidate owned versus what the team owned.
Write a short story: your current scope, your years as a PM, one result with a number, and why this role is the next step. Say it once. Cut it until it fits two minutes.
Ramp doesn't publish its PM interview loop, and guides disagree on the number of rounds (three to five). The most common pattern is a recruiter screen, a hiring manager interview, and a case study or take-home that you present. One review, possibly for a different role, describes a week to prepare a presentation. Another lost points for not sizing impact. A 2022 post from a Ramp PM describes a final round with engineering, design and product leaders.
Worth redoing if you hear something from the recruiter that contradicts this.
Every round you’ve done for this job, newest first.
Recruiter screen, Hiring manager interview, Case study and presentation, and Leadership panel have no attempts yet.
Ramp job postings ask for about three years of PM experience and ownership of strategy and roadmap. A short story with scope and a result shows you fit that level.

Ramp leaders say they hire for high agency. One candidate who says they are a Ramp PM also says Ramp screens for agency. Your story must show it early.

Pick one area: cards, reimbursements, or spend management. Write two sentences about a problem users face there and why it interests you. Then write three questions about the loop, the format, and the hiring team.
A specific reason shows real interest. Questions about the loop help you plan your time before the next rounds.
Suggested approach
You have a written two-minute story with one number, one self-started example, and one specific Ramp area with your reason.
Your first practice round takes 30 minutes.
